Steve Jobs was a U.S. entrepreneur and engineer known for his role in the development of Apple and for his visionary products and services.
Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco and died of cancer in October 2011. He studied engineering at Stanford University and began his career as a programmer at Atari. He later worked for Apple, where he was instrumental in the development of the Macintosh and the iPhone.
After Jobs was expelled from Apple's board of directors in 1985, he founded NeXT, a company that specialized in software for advanced computers. In 1996, Jobs returned to Apple and successfully led the company until his death in 2011. His vision and commitment to high-quality products and services earned him worldwide recognition.
