Kyocera & sproof. A little digitisation fairy tale.

Juli 18, 2022 by Heidi Boller

The leading document management provider and globally prominent corporation Kyocera relies on sproof for the integration of digital signatures.

At sproof, we rejoice at the trend of more and more large companies turning to the services of young and innovative start-ups. Such is the case with Kyocera Document Solutions (Linke), a global leader in information and document management. Kyocera's customers in Austria are now using the digital signature solution called: sproof.

With this cooperation, the digital contract management of Kyocera's DMS solution is extended by a secure and legally valid signature function for any kind of digital contract conclusion. With the direct integration of sproof into Kyocera Workflow Manager, the document management expert is responding to the increasing demand for secure signature options in the DMS market.

Software "Made in Austria" hat überzeugt.

"...sproof convinces with simplicity, security and numerous other advantages, such as quick implementation in existing IT infrastructures. We are also particularly pleased to be able to offer our Austrian customers a service 'made in Austria'".

Open up joint markets in a close sales partnership.

The ability to manage documents across the entire company and to sign or send them out for signature in the same workflow offers an unrivalled all-in-one solution, especially for SMEs but also for large corporations.

In recent years, the sales team of Kyocera Austria has increasingly noticed the great need for such all-in-one concepts. After a very intensive test procedure, sproof was finally chosen as a partner for the signature integration into their own DMS system.

Intensive training workshops are planned for the coming summer weeks in order to be able to apply the new possibilities offered by digital fusion in the best possible way in customer communication.

In the first workshop with the sales teams of Kyocera & sproof, the joint concept was fine-tuned and a joint strategy was developed for the different use cases.

"I am convinced that our strategic partnership will be very beneficial to the digitalisation efforts of many large companies in the Austrian and German markets."

Kyocera Workflow Manager: For optimised document workflows.

Kyocera Workflow Manager enables companies to optimise their document management and thus accelerate business processes. The DMS solution has a modular structure and can be flexibly adapted to the requirements of the respective company. For example, from quotations and invoices to industry-specific formats and processes, the solution can be used to streamline workflows, make information available and ultimately reduce costs.

"How well document processes are currently organised in companies can be seen in how much time is spent daily on searching, updating, distributing and archiving documents. The easier and faster this is done, the more time is left for productive work on core tasks and projects," says Michael Kalaus from Kyocera. The Kyocera Workflow Manager automates processes and allows simultaneous work. At the same time, it makes processes more comprehensible - and thus controllable.

The advanced electronic signature (AES) with sproof

sproof makes it possible to digitally sign documents with the "advanced" (AES) standard for digital signing. In the process, the signatory is additionally identified, e.g. with the help of the email address. Thus, this type of digital signing already has sufficient probative value for many applications.

About the digital signature

The digital signature is the time-saving, resource-saving alternative to a time-honoured "cultural practice" - the handwritten signing and collection of signatures. There is a little background knowledge involved in the digital variant, which is summarised here, very briefly and concisely.

In addition to the introduction of the technology throughout the publishing house within the next few weeks, the cooperation also consists of an investment in the company itself.
